Precision Dredge Pulleys was born in Cabo San Lucas, where high-stakes tournament fishing demands absolute reliability and every detail matters.

Founded by Captain Greg DiStefano of El Suertudo 80 Weaver, Precision Dredge Pulleys was built with one goal: create a dredge pulley that runs smoother, quieter, and more reliably than anything crews had come to accept as normal — and one built to last years, not days.

Why We Built It

After years of dealing with pulley failures, excess drag, vibration, and reels that constantly sounded loaded up, Greg knew there had to be a better way.

The breaking point came when another pulley failed while prefishing for the 2025 East Cape Bisbee’s. When you’re fishing for life-changing money, “good enough” is never good enough.

That mindset wasn’t built by chance. From back-to-back Baja 1000 wins to years of offshore tournament success — including an IGFA world record yellowfin tuna — we know that winning comes down to preparation, reliability, and relentless attention to detail.
